About

Sean Proctor is a photojournalist currently based out of the Mid-Michigan area with a passion for community-driven, detail-oriented storytelling. A student a Central Michigan University, Sean is majoring in Journalism with a concentration in Photojournalism and a minor in Political Science. He works for the student-run newspaper, Central Michigan Life, and freelances for the Midland Daily News.

Sean received “Honorable Mention” in the 2010 Michigan Press Photographers Association College Photographer of the Year contest, and placed first in the category of Sports Feature during the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Region 4 awards.

He will be graduating in December of 2010 after spending a summer interning at Denali National Park.
